Does DPHMS require root access?

No. DPHMS uses Shizuku to run system shell commands without rooting your device. Shizuku provides ADB-level access without unlocking your bootloader.

What is Shizuku and how do I set it up?

Shizuku is an Android app that provides ADB-level access to other apps without root. You can download it from the Play Store or from our Shizuku guide page at dphms.vercel.app/shizuku-guide.html

DPHMS Lite is completely free with no ads or tracking. Pro is $2.99, Pro+ with AI Terminal is $4.99, NetGuard security scanner is $1.99, and DPHMS OS premium Linux desktop is $9.99. Source code is included with every purchase.

DPHMS can disable bloatware, clear app caches, freeze apps, manage app permissions, change fonts and icons, scan for security issues, and run system tweaks — all through Shizuku shell commands without root.

What devices does DPHMS work on?

DPHMS works on any Android device running Android 12 or higher, all makes and models, any brand, any carrier. Install Shizuku once and the full suite runs on your phone.

Are the install-time security warnings real?

No. Android and Google Play Protect show generic warnings (unknown developer, unsafe app) to every app installed outside the Play Store. They are not malware detections. DPHMS apps have no ads, no trackers, and no backdoors. Tap Install anyway, and verify your file with the SHA-256 checksums on dphms.vercel.app.
