Check Android RAM and storage from your home screen

DPHMS Lite includes a 4x1 home screen widget for RAM and storage monitoring. It puts a quick glance at those two system resources on your launcher, without opening the app each time.

Add the widget

  1. Install DPHMS Lite and open it once.
  2. On your Android home screen, press and hold an empty area, then open the widget picker. The exact gesture varies by launcher.
  3. Find DPHMS Lite, choose its 4x1 widget, and drag it to a clear space.
  4. Resize or reposition it if your launcher allows. If it is not listed, check that Lite is installed and restart the launcher.

What it is, and isn't

The widget is a compact monitor for RAM and storage, not a one-tap cleaner or a promise of faster performance. Android manages memory automatically, so use the display as information rather than a reason to force-stop apps.
